It’s year 5 of sharing one of my first baked Brie appetizers, and it’s always tried and true. It’s one of my favorite apps to serve up around the holidays, and everyone always loves it. Hope you enjoy!
INGREDIENTS:
Brie wheel (not a wedge)
1 tbsp honey
1 clove of grated garlic
pepper
Drizzle of EVOO
fresh thyme
pomegranate seeds
sugared cranberries
spiced walnuts
DIRECTIONS:
Pre-Heat Oven to 375. Unwrap Brie, and place on parchment paper inside of a baking dish. Score the Brie by cutting the top in a criss cross pattern – don’t be afraid to make deep cuts. Rub grated garlic into Brie, then drizzle Honey on top, and crack a little black pepper. Add fresh thyme leaves and lightly drizzle with EVOO. Cover the baking dish with foil, and bake for 10 minutes. Take off the foil and bake for another 5-10 being careful not to burn the garlic. Take out and place onto a plate, and sprinkle Pom seeds, sugared cranberries, and walnuts. Serve with fresh baguette slices and garnish with more thyme. ?
